Legendary Joy Division and New Order bassist Peter Hook and his band The Light have a live date at The Foundry in Sheffield this week.

The group will be performing in full Joy Division’s two classic albums, Unknown Pleasures and Closer.

Both albums are considered seminal, much loved classics and the influence of both records remains pervasive today.

Unknown Pleasures features the tracks Disorder, Insight, New Dawn Fades, She’s Lost Control and I Remember Nothing.

Closer also yielded many landmark Joy Division tracks including Atrocity Exhibition, Heart And Soul, and Twenty Four Hours.

In addition, The Light have now come to perform every Joy Division song ever recorded, so the set will include Love Will Tear Us Apart and Atmosphere as well as lesser known tracks.

The gig is on Friday, July 29.

Tickets are £22.50 on http://bit.ly/296Umbe or http://bit.ly/29dr5ww
