DANCE fever is coming to the region as the Essence of Ireland returns to get your feet moving.

On the back of a hugely successful 2010 tour Essence of Ireland returns with a brand new show that is bigger and better than ever.

The show follows the story of Sean Dempsey and Coro McGowen, who meet in Ireland in the 1940s, but are forced apart when Sean moved to New York to find work. The moving story depicts the letters sent between the two during their time apart.

Combining breathtaking dance routines with the very best of Irish music and a touch of Irish craic, all cleverly woven into a heart-warming tale, Eessence of Ireland is performed by a cast of some of the country’s finest dancers, singers and musicians.

You’ll also hear songs such as Galway Girl, Carrickfergus, You Raise Me Up and Song for Ireland, to name a few.

The Essence of Ireland will be at Lincoln’s Theatre Royal on Tuesday 15th and Wednesday 16th November. Tickets are between £18.50 - £23-50.
