Acting Together is a new informal network of amateur theatre groups that work together to share resources.

Now three of the groups, Bawtry Phoenix Theatre, Gainsborough Theatre Company and Everton Village Players (other members of the network are Blyth Players and Haxey Amateur Dramatic Society) have put together a festival of one act comedy plays, which they will present over three evenings at each other’s venues, with each society performing a play.

Audiences at Bawtry tonight (Thursday), Gainsborough’s Old Nick Theatre tomorrow (Friday) and Everton Village Hall on Saturday, July 2, can see performances of Dilys Owen’s Caroline Comes To Tea performed by Bawtry Phoenix, Jimmy Chinn’s A Respectable Funeral by Gainsborough Theatre Company and Alan Bennett’s Green Forms by Everton Village Players.

All performances start at 7.30pm and all tickets are £7.

Tickets for Bawtry are already sold out but tickets for Everton are available on 01777 817275 or www.evertonvillageplayers.co.uk and Gainsborough on 01427 239387 or [email protected]
