First Retford Arts Festival takes place this bank holiday weekend

Timed to coincide with Open Studios Notts,visitors will find 26 venues in and around Retford hosting artists and artisans, exhibitions, displays, studios and working ‘en plein air’.

In addition, there is also an events programme with talks from writers and historians talking about key historical events that affected the town.

There are also activities for children, beekeeping and music from classical guitar to live music for all.

Venues taking part include The Hub, St Swithun’s Church, the Hop Pole Pub and the Rum Runner and the library.

The festival runs from Saturday, May 28 until Monday, May 30.
