Proceeds will go towards buying much-needed equipment for the choir.

In particular, they will be used to buy a PA System to use at indoor and outdoor venues as most places they sing at do not have one.

Part of the proceeds will also be used to train members of the choir to be come vocal trainers and choir directors.

The choir is expanding and this will enhance the skills and abilities of individuals and the choir as a whole.

The choir was formed in March 2013 and is currently made up of people of different ages, nationalities and backgrounds from within Worksop and the surrounding areas who love singing and meeting new people.

Supporting artists on the night will be the Mt Zion Liturgical Dancers from Nottingham, Pat MacFarlane-Lewis from Sheffield, Jane Martindale from Worksop and Marcia Castillo from Walsall.

The concert is on May 7 at 7pm.

Tickets are £5 (£2 for children aged six to 16 years-old and free for children under-six) and will be available on the door.

Doors open at 6.30pm.
