After the hectic business of a Bank Holiday double header, normal service of a single league game resumes this weekend with the eighth round of NPL fixtures.

Having seen their lead at the top cut after losing the first of their weekend fixtures, Plumtree prepare to welcome Radcliffe-on-Trent to the PCG. The visitors will be keen to pick up points as the sit in the middle of a congested pack in the lower reaches of the table.

The 2bm Ground will witness a battle of in-form sides as Kimberley Institute play host to Cuckney. It’s second versus third, and with both sides not having tasted defeat in their last three matches it promises to be a cracker.

West Indian Cavaliers sit in 4th place having recorded a resounding win on Monday. Mansfield Hosiery Mills are the visitors to Birchover Park on Saturday, having lifted themselves out of the bottom two with a win over Welbeck.

Ordsall Bridon travel to Notts Academy with both sides looking to bounce back from losses on Monday. It may be a tale of home comfort for the Academy who have won their last two home matches, Bridon meanwhile are yet to win on the road.

Welbeck, who are yet to lose at home, will host Caythorpe who ended their 3 match losing streak on Saturday, and got back to winning ways on the Monday.

There’s a big match at Clifton as the bottom two go head to head. Clifton Village are yet to win anywhere this season, while Hucknall remain winless away from the New Gatehouse Ground.
