Tuesday Club junior Andrew Lane, seven, stole the show during their recent match at Lodge Farm after borrowing his dad’s top kit to have a dabble down the margins.
Of course it was inevitable that Andrew was going to hook a big en, which he did.
After a bit of a tussle he landed the biggest carp of the day, a cracking 14lb 8oz mirror.
You couldn’t make it up!

In-house expert Andy went afloat netting 22 fish in a single session so listen to the experts, they will put you on the fish.
Boats are generally enjoying the best sport so it’s worth paying the extra to go afloat.
As the weather cools slightly, catch rates should continue to improve
