Stalemates were the order of the week in the Worksop Snooker League Division One games, with four of the six matches ending in draws.

Results: Grove Mill 2-2 Dinnington C, Stanley St G 2-2 Ex-servicemen, Welbeck B 1-3 Bassetlaw C, Warsop WMC 2-2 Notts Arena C, Breakers X 2-2 Breakers S, Clipstone 1-3 Langold Pocket.

The game between Notts Arena and Welbeck A is to be re-arranged, and Notts Arena have had two points deducted.

In Division Two this week, Dinnington A were the team to sit out.

Results: Anston WMC 3-1 Institute A, Woodend Pub 1-3 Bowling Club, Stanley St A 2-2 Hodthorpe B, Tickhill B 1-3 Stanley St B, Notts Arena B 2-2 Stanley St C, Harworth 3-1 Hodthorpe A.

In the Team Knockout Cup quarter-finals, Anston WMC went through at the expense of Notts Arena C.

Harworth got the better of Stanley Street B, and Tickhill B went out at the hands of Breakers X.

The fourth tie went the way of Woodend Pub, who overcame Breakers S.

The draw for the semi-finals has been made and has pitted Anston and Harworth together.

The game will be played on Saturday at 7.30pn at Stanley Street Social Club.

The winners will have to wait until 7th March to discover their opponents, when Breakers X and Woodend Pub meet at 7.30pm at Welbeck Club.

Rising star Ash Carty heads the league’s ‘high break’ table, with an impressive 96.

The Notts Arena product is followed by Guy Dennis of Breakers X with a 75.

A 69 from Carty takes third spot, Jordan Mann of Harworth is fourth with 67 and Craig Frost of Breakers is fifth with his 66.
