A trio of local youngsters have been impressing at motocross competitions across the region.
Seventeen-year-old Kurtis Williams has bounced back from injury disappointment, to stand on the podium.
The rider was set to compete in the National Masters event at Foxhills, when he landed hard on a triple jump and suffered a broken wrist.
Five weeks out of action followed, but at his first race back at Finningley he took second place. Last week he raced at Dalton with the White Rose MX Club and was outright winner in the schoolboys section, with three dominant wins and a holeshot award.
Brothers Luke and Dan Fisher were also in action at Dalton.
The duo battled it out in their groups, both taking fifth place and Dan adding a holeshot award.
Their best race yet, however, came three weeks ago when they raced at Sand Hutton with White Rose MX Club and were rewarded with a second place for Luke and third for his brother Dan.
