Professional boxer Ross Burkinshaw dropped in to sponsors Worksop Timber Company last week to show off the reward for his recent efforts.
The Sheffield bantamweight fighter stepped in on short notice to fight for the Commonwealth title against South Yorkshire rival Jason Cunningham.
After a war of attrition it was Burkinshaw’s hand raised, the judges’ decision split but in his favour.
He brought the belt along to thank his Worksop sponsors and to pose for a photo with staff and supporters.
Also pictured are the daughter and granddaughter of company owner Peter Scott Senior, Tiger and Pixie, showing off signed gloves that were to be auctioned to raise funds for injured Sheffield boxer Jerome Wilson.
The local boxing scene has rallied round Wilson who was put in a medically induced coma after a recent knockout.
