After finishing runners-up last season, DTH Redlands Tarr Babies have gone one better and won the title.

Captain Jack Tarr has steered his young team fabulously, losing only one Division Three match all season.

The Tarr Babies clinched the title with a 9-1 win, this time over Ryton Park Cougars with hat-tricks for Keiran Tutter and Daniel Cutts.

Josh Nelson lost to Ivan Stallworthy, but neither of Stallworthy’s team mates Dave Rix and Connor Bettley could trouble the scorers .

Tarr then teamed up with Tutter to take the doubles.

Meanwhile their nearest rivals were cementing the runners-up spot.

Stanley Street C can be satisfied with their season having also reached the final of the MBE Trophy and Handicap Shield semi-finals.

They were up against Ryton Park Falcons, and although Nathan Langley of the Falcons beat both Glyn Williams and Martynas Riauba, he lost to Valentinas Riauba.

Both Williams and Martynas Riauba won two each with Valentinas registering yet another hat-trick, before Orestas and Valentinas Riauba teamed up to take the doubles to secure an 8-2 victory.

Both Jayden Budworth and Neil Houghton were unbeaten, supported by Glen Gillgrass who won two, only losing to Lee Banton.

In Division Two Global Marble B continued their recent good form with a 7-3 win over bottom side Manton Sports.

Steve Elkin and Dilip Malkan both beat all three Sports players Alan Wilson, Keith Smith and Phil Fisher.

The Sports trio went on to beat Ewan Pickersgill before Pickersgill teamed up with Malkan to beat Smith and Fisher in the doubles.

The defeat leaves Sports three points adrift at the bottom of the table.

In the battle for the Division One runners up spot MBE closed the gap on Global Marble A to five points after a 9-1 win over Stanley Street A.

MBE’s Mark Stanfield secured another hat-trick.
