The Worksop Harriers completed a successful season in the Notts Summer League, once again earning a host of medals.
Amy Ogden led the Harriers senior ladies team to bronze medals, and took individual gold in the veteran category, and bronze in the seniors.
Teresa Mcpake won silver in the over 35s category, Caroline McGinley earned a bronze in the over 45s and Peter Fendley was a bronze medallist in the over 60s.
The Harriers ladies teams out performed the men in their respective leagues with the senior ladies finishing third and the veteran ladies fourth.
The senior men finished their league 11th with the veteran mens A team fourthand B team 10th.
The league is between all the athletic clubs in the county, comprising of one race a month from April until August and is open to all athletes over 16 years of age.
A delighted team manager Caroline McGinley said:“It has been a fantastic turnout this season, with a record turnout of 44 Harriers at our home meeting at Worksop College.”
“The team spirit built up over the cross country season got us off to a great start and has continued to grow throughout the year.”
The fifth and final meeting was held at Teversal, near Kirkby-in-Ashfield.

The Harriers offer a Just One Goal beginners jogging group.
These sessions are open to all, both male and female and the group meets every Tuesday and Thursday at 6pm.
The sessions are led by UKA qualified coaches.
