The police confiscated the prizes at Welbey Abbey Bowls Club’s Bank Holiday drive – as two ex coppers finished first and last.
John Hallam was the victor, winning a bottle of wine.
And fellow former policeman Andy Pointon took home the bar of chocolate – the club’s equivalent of the wooden spoon.
It was a well supported drive, despite dubious weather, and 26 bowlers took part.
