LEE Westwood had a disappointing end to his first round in South Korea this morning, but insists he’s still well in contention.
The world number one golfer dropped three shots in the final three holes at the opening round of the Ballantine’s Championship in Icheon.
He finished the day level par, six shots behind leader Damien McGrane.
Speaking after the round he said: “I’m still in contention. On the first 15 holes I played very nicely and gave myself a lot of chances without really making any putts.”
