Worksop Harriers ladies team extended their lead in the local cross-country league, once again coming away the winners at the fourth race in the series at Clowne.
With just one race left they look set to win the series in their first year competing.
The Harriers men’s team finished the Clowne race in fifth, but remain in fourth place in the league.
The six mile race was an interesting mix of fields and country lanes with a few hills thrown in.
Team captain Caroline McGinley thanked Clowne Road Runners for a very enjoyable event and post race buffet.
She said: “It’s been a fantastic first year in the league for the club and it has built a great team spirit and camaraderie among all our runners.”
“I would also like to thank our team of roving marshals who have traveled to all the races - your support has been much appreciated.”
