Peter Fendley was the golden boy for Worksop Harriers at the Notts County 10 mile Championships at Holme Pierrepont.
The veteran took the Over 60s gold medal with his time of 72:18, finishing 105th overall and first in his age category.
His time was also a club ‘gold standard’ for his age, although he did run the same race in 52:08 when he set a club record over 30 years ago.
Tim Doughty (25th, 60:53) led the Harriers home, followed by Fendley, Amy Fendley (158th, 76:51) and Jimmy Kelly (206th, 81:43).
John Shephard (138th, 4:56), Gill Shephard (208th, 5:27) and Sally Staveley (258th, 6:10) completed the gruelling Swaledale Marathon, with its 4,125ft of ascent.
The Harriers ladies team of Adele Bryan (84th, 44:53, PB), Helen Broughton (110th, 47:33) and Joanne Mclean (117th, 48:27,) won the team prize at the Owston Ferry 10km.
Jon Stott (51st, 42:30, PB), lead the club, followed by Craig Cooper (52nd, 42:39), Aaron Jackson (58th, 42:57, PB) and Nigel Dawber (94th, 46:13).
