Clowne Road Runners were out in force around the country last weekend.
Graham Worsfold produced a personal best performance at the Chester marathon, finishing in 3:23:40, while partner Helen Callender recorded 4:36:48.
The Tissington Half Marathon is run along the Tissington Trail, the site of a former railway line from Ashbourne to Buxton.
The course runs along a 13 mile route from Parsley Hay to Ashbourne.
Suzanne Leusby produced a personal best, recording a time of 1:53:31 while Samantha Coleclough also ran a personal best in 1:47:50 and gained a silver club standard for her effort.
Simon Gregory tackled the Mablethorpe Marathon, finishing in 3:06:07 and gaining a club silver standard, while Jamie Waller completed the half marathon race in a time of 1:42:40.
John Profitt travelled to Northamptonshire and ran a multi-terrain 10km race called the ‘Oundle Magnificent Ten,’ run around the grounds of the National Trust in Lyveden.
He finished in 54:28.
Lewis Banton put in a great performance to finish third in the Coniston 15.
The 15km Coniston Trail Challenge follow circuits along well marked and marshalled footpaths and bridleways.
The Moss Valley Madness 10km was won by Darren King in 40:34, with Julie White58:33, Lyn Hazelton 64:25, Sarah Jane Massingham 64:57, Emma Makie 66:31 following.
The popular 5km Park runs seem to attract runners every Saturday morning at venues around the country. Rother Valley Park Run saw Samantha Coleclough complete the course in a time of 24:07 and gain a club Silver Standard, other runners include Paul Summerly 23:19, John Profitt 24:44. The Clumber park 5km event saw Louise Lowe finish as 1st lady in a time of 20:36 with Julie White 25:08.
