In the Mondays Triples League Trevor Gaines team 9 didn’t play their last match against Geoff Gray’s team 1, agreeing a draw, so Marjorie Ward’s team 4 are officially runners-up to Peter May’s champions.
In the Friday Mixed Triples Geoff Gray’s team 1 won their last three matches to emphatically retain their championship.
After the first six matches, not using any handicap, team 1 were four points ahead and they then kept that lead during the 12 matches under handicap, demonstrating that the handicap was fair.
