Swimming legend Foster is awards special guest

SWIMMING legend Mark Foster is the special guest at tonight’s Bassetlaw Sports Awards (Friday).

The event, at Retford Oaks Academy, will recognise the achievements of local sportsmen and women this year, and the often unseen contribution of club officials and coaches.

Foster will share from his experience as a world class athlete, and Retford-based cyclist Crystal Lane is also set to speak of her involvement in the London 2012 Paramlympics.
