It took just three days for the Owls to sell-out their 4,319 ticket allocation for Saturday’s encounter at Molineux, kick-off 12:30pm.

Wednesday boss Carlos Carvalhal is expected to field an under-strength side, with the first leg of their Play-Off Semi-Final set to take place a week tomorrow. He has already confirmed star forward Fernando Forestieri will sit-out the dead rubber fixture.

There is a strong possibility Keiren Westwood, Tom Lees, Glenn Loovens, Barry Bannan, Kieran Lee and Gary Hooper may also be rested as the Owls look to finish a year of progress on a high note.

Joe Wildsmith, Michael Turner, Vincent Sasso, Jose Semedo, Sam Hutchinson and Marco Matias could all get run-outs.

The Owls will find out who they will meet in the Play-Offs on Saturday. It will be either Middlesbrough or Brighton and Hove Albion, who play each other in an automatic promotion decider.

Wednesdayites have wasted no time in snapping up tickets for the end-of-season shootout after the club opted to slash ticket prices for the Hillsborough clash. Tickets are priced at £20 adults, £15 over 65s & 17-20s, £10 Under 17s and £5 U11s.

Over the next three days, season ticket holders, Owls Members, Foundation Members and new 2016/17 season ticket holders can purchase up to two tickets per ID.

Tickets will go on sale to non-season ticket holders or non-members who have 100 or more ticket priority points on Sunday. Tickets will go on general sale next Monday.
