Kennedy to captain Tigers next season
Jon Kennedy will captain Worksop Town next season after Conor Higginson's move to Handsworth Parramore.
Tigers boss Mark Shaw confirmed experienced goalkeeper Kennedy has been handed the armband for the 2016/17 campaign.
Shaw said: “He brings a wealth of experience and has a great amount of respect from not just me but the players too.
“He’s a fantastic character and will lead on the pitch.
“I can 100 per cent rely on him and I’ve no doubt he will repay us this season.”
