Juniors get development coaching
Dinnington Rugby Club under 15's v Hull (w111128-4c)
THE junior section at Dinnington Rugby Club has launched a development programme to help young talent progress through the ranks to the first team.
The programme, focusing on key rugby skills, decision making, technique and conditioning, will be led by coaching co-ordinator Mark Harrison, who is a coach at the Yorkshire School of Rugby and an RFU Level 2 qualified coach.
Sessions will also see the youngsters get advise from first XV players and coaches.
A monthly rotational system will see each age group get their chance to enjoy the free skill based sessions, from 7pm to 8.30pm on a Monday night.
The Under 13s and 14s began on Monday 6th February and will meet once every four weeks, the Under 15s start on Monday 20th and the Under 16s and Under 17s a week after that.
