Athletics: Reaching for the sky
JUNIOR Harriers coach Tom Mould reached for the sky when he did a sponsored parachute jump to raise funds for the club.
He completed a tandem jump from 15,000ft at Target Skysports at Brigg.
Andy Ward got the Worksop Harriers off to a perfect start, winning the third race in the Notts AAA Summer League at Erewash, where he finished the Hilly 5.5miles in a very impressive 27:35.
Despite this race being the most distant venue, the club was well represented and this is reflected in the club's teams positions.
With two races remaining the veteran ladies team are second, senior ladies 13th, senior men fourth, with the veteran men's A team fourth and B team 10th in their respective leagues.
