Worksop Town’s first half term holiday camp was a roaring success this week, with over 60 kids involved in the coaching sessions.

First team players including captain Jake Scott, goalkeepers Ben Gathercole and Tom Jackson and midfielder Tom Elliott dished out hints and tips to the youngsters.

Boss Mark Shaw lauded the efforts of his young players.

“It’s been an absolute success, the turnout has been a lot better than we expected and Jake and the lads have put on fantastic sessions,” he said.

“The organisation has been superb, the kids are working on three themes a day, passing, dribbling and shooting, and they’ve had a lot of fun.”

“We’ve had around 60 kids or so and it’s been constant fun for them.”
