Worksop Town’s week ahead...

Saturday, home, 3pm

Bridlington

The seasiders are somewhat draw specialists this season, having shared the spoils on six occasions.

Bridlington are on a four game unbeaten streak, although three of those games have ended in a draw.

Their latest defeat came at the hands of Worksop’s landlords Handsworth Parramore, a 5-1 drubbing at Sandy Lane.

The dangerman is Ombeni Ruhanduka, who has six goals to his credit this season.

A pacey frontman, he counts North Ferriby United and Hall Road Rangers in his previous clubs.

Tigers will be without centre-half Sam Liversidge, who begins a suspension, while his defensive partner Luke Shiels may still be an injury doubt – and midfielder Conor Sellars will need a fitness test after limping out on Wednesday.

Phoenix

The first Sheffield Senior Cup action of the 2014/15 season for Worksop Town comes at Sandy Lane, although Phoenix are the ‘home’ team – the game switched to Worksop due to a lack of floodlights at Pavillion Lane, Rotherham.

A Central Midlands Black Dragon North Division side, Phoenix have lost their last four games in a row and currently sit 16th in their league table.
