Trinity kids win the Kalson league

Have your say

Gainsborough Trinity Under 15s clinched the Jack Kalson League title with an emphatic 9-0 win over Brigg Town.

Trinity looked nervy and struggled to get their game going as Brigg pressed forward early on.

But the nerves were soon eased when striker Tom Williams kept his cool to shoot into the far corner.

Things got even better for the home side when Danny Krakow found the back of the net with a neat finish.

The game as a contest was over before half-time with two more goals for Williams and one for Keatan Gale.

Early in the second half Williams claimed his fourth with a shot from just inside the area.

Trinity rounded off a fantastic day with three more goals, two for Williams to make it 40 for the season, and Gale headed in Spencer Robson’s cross to complete the rout.

Trinity would like to thank their large support from the sidelines and sponsors Ron Gale and Sons Builders and Joiners Ltd.

Their presentation night will be held on 24th May at Liberal Club on Ropery Road.
