Worksop Town are looking for a secretary for their newly reinstated Under 19 team.

Tigers have applied to join the H-K-L North Midlands U19s Development League, a year after the youth side was terminated.

Along with the new Under 19s and women’s team, Worksop plan to introduce an Under 21 team and a women’s Under 19 team in 2016/17.

Tigers have obtained a £6,000 grant from Grow the Game that will be paid in installments over three years to help pay for pitch hire, referee’s fees and equipment.

And they’re advertising for an Under 19s secretary.

Duties for the voluntary role will include registering players, completing team sheets and sending them to the League, reporting results to the League, dealing with paperwork from the FA and League forms, attending relevant meetings and confirming matches.

The Under 19 side will be playing their home matches at Shirebrook Town on a Thursday.

Away matches could be any midweek night depending on the opposition’s home night.

Anyone interested in the role should send their details, including a CV outlining any relevant experience to Paul Stacey by 30th June 2015 at wtfcsecretary@gmail.com
