ANSTON Rangers have clinched a league title, less than a year after the junior football club was set up.
Their Under 11s have been crowed champions, after winning every game bar one this season.
An incredible 132 goals have been scored by Rangers – with a game left to play – and they’ve only conceded 18.
Proud manager Wayne Firth told the Guardian: “The 15 players are all driven and enthusiastic and an absolute pleasure to work with.”
“The whole team put in 100 per cent work and effort in matches and training, but manage to have fun together.”
“This is a great achievement.”
Rangers are suponsored by Banner Plant Hire and RSH Safety. Wayne added: “We want to thank RSH for sponsoring our rain jackets and training sweaters.”
