The relentless assault on Leon Wrigglesnorth’s goal came to a stunning conclusion after Sam Weston took his chance from a ball driven in from the right wing after five minutes.

Two more goals came in the first half followed as Kyle Jordan tucked away a penalty in the 38th minute and Adam Scott beat the keeper with a well taken shot in injury time.

And the rampant Tigers continued where they left off after the break.

They got their rewards when Mitch Husbands hit the back of the net in the 71st minute with a chipped effort and Sam Weston grabbed his second goal of the game when he headed in a corner in the 86th minute.

Jon Kennedy had a largely uneventful game as Harrogate struggled to beat the Worksop Town offside trap.

Aaron Pickersgill took home the man-of-the-match award with a confident defensive display.
