Worksop Town captain Jake Scott has decided to leave the club to join Bradford Park Avenue in the National League North.

The midfielder becomes the fourth Tiger to head to the Horsfall this year, following in the footsteps of Alex Pursehouse, Jon Stewart and Tom Burgin.

Scott will leave a hole off the pitch for Worksop as well, having led the Football in the Community project.

Last season he led Tigers to second in the NCEL Premier, and departs the club with the Sandy Lane outfit in first position.

Avenue, former Northern Premier rivals of Worksop, sit third from bottom in the National League North.
