Worksop Town will welcome Midland Premier Division side Westfields to Sandy Lane on Saturday, in the third round of the FA Vase.
Tigers will hope to add the Midland Premier Division side to their list of scalps in the competition, along with Long Eaton and Ellistown & Ibstock United.
Westfields play their football in a league that is at the same level of the football pyramid as the NCEL Premier.
It will be no easy task, as the two sides have pretty similar records this season.
Tigers are third in the NCEL Premier with 42 points from 19 games, and Saturday’s visitors are fourth in the Midland Premier having accrued 34 points from 19 games.
Both teams have lost just once in their last 11 outings, in all competitions.
Westfields’ defeat in that stretch came at the hands of Shepshed Dynamo away from home.
The Hereford side like to share the goals around, with four players having hit the net seven times this season, namely Jamie Cuss, Craig Jones, Nathaniel Lewars and Daniel Polan.
The club was formed in 1966, and tasted success in the Hereford Sunday League before progressing to the West Midland League and then the Midland Alliance in 2003.
Saturday’s winners will scoop a £1,500 prize.
