Gateford Park started their season with wins in the cup and league.
They moved into the Parry Cup quarter-finals with a 3-0 defeat of Serlby Park and in the league beat St Anne’s 2-1, when Toby Knowles and Joe Chapman scoring the goals.
Carr Hill overcame St Augustine’s in their cup tie courtesy of goals from Billy Stafford, Henry Millership and Jacob Farrer but were overwhelmed in their first league match against Prospect Hill when Kian Smith scored five opportunist goals before Divine Oluwatuyi completed the rout.
St Anne’s, finalists last year, made another promising start to their cup campaign when Byron Bates, Adam Mooney and Dominic Gray hit their goals in a best of five win against Holy Family.
The draw for the quarter-finals is: Langold Dyscarr v Prospect Hill ; Kingston Park v Carr Hill ; St John’s v St Anne’s; Gateford Park v Sir Edmund Hillary.
These matches must be played on or by 7th November.
