New Notts Premier League leaders Cuckney are in round 14 action this Saturday when they make the relatively short trip to Ordsall Bridon.

The Bears have not tasted defeat in nine weeks, winning five of those matches, while Bridon have not won for nine matches, though four of those fell victim to the weather.

After three consecutive weather ruined matches, Plumtree have slid to second in the table.

They prepared for the visit of Mansfield Hosiery Mills with a cancellation last week, so will be eager to put pressure on Cuckney.

Mansfield Hosiery Mills have risen to sixth in the table on the back of a five week unbeaten run.

Kimberley Institute dropped to third after a two wicket defeat to the Notts Academy last week.

They will hope to get back to winning ways at Welbeck, where the home side are yet to lose this season.

West Indian Cavaliers remain in fourth after losing out to the weather last week, and will be looking to get their first win in five weeks when new residents at the foot of the table, Clifton Village come to Birchover Park. The Villagers have just two wins in their last 10 matches.

After their win at Kimberley, Notts Academy have closed the gap to the top four sides, and will have victory at home to Radcliffe-on-Trent at the weekend. It’s been five weekends since a win for the Trent men, who are just one point above the relegation places.

The remaining match sees Caythorpe play host to a Hucknall side boosted by having climbed off the foot of the table.

Caythorpe’s first game in five weeks was a defeat at Cuckney, while Hucknall have now gone five weeks since their last defeat.
