THE 8-0 scoreline in Litten Tree's favour did not do justice to a hard working Pickwick Boro.

DIVISION THREE
Pickwick Boro 0
Litten Tree 8

They had chances, but with Maz Marsden on top form in the Litten Tree goal and Man of the Match Mark Woolford and fellow centre-half James Mathews commanding the defence, there was no way through.

Adam Smith opened the scoring after a good through ball from Jordan Canning.

Canning won a penalty and a confident Tom Linton gave the keeper absolutely no chance.

At half-time manager Kev Barratt substituted Will Askew for one of the most prolific goal scorers the Sunday League has seen in 52-year-old Dave Shepherd.

It was his shot that was handled outside the box and the referee dismissed the Pickwick keeper.

Gavin Darke got two goals, new signing Steven Wright capped an excellent debut with a goal and the assisted Shepherd's first.

Shepherd rounded off the scoring.

Based on this performance, Litten Tree will have a say on the outcome of Division Three at the end of the season.

Colliery Inn 0
Travellers Rest 12

THIS match was all one way, with Travellers Rest running riot against Colliery Inn.

The Travellers went ahead in the first five minutes when Chris Dyson's chip rebounded off the bar and Lewis Brigg slotedt into the net.

Another two quick goals from Dyson put the Travellers 3-0.

Five minutes later came the fourth goal of the game and Dyson's hat-trick.

Shaun Dyson's first goal came just after the half an hour mark before Chris Dyson's fourth.

Fifteen minutes into the second half Shaun Dyson got his second and then secured his treble.

The next goal came from substitute Ash Burton and with 15 minutes left Shaun Dyson got his fourth.

In the last 10 minutes Chris Dyson got his fifth and in the 90th minute the ball bounced to Kane just outside the halfway circle in the Colliery half and his long range effort swerved into the top corner.

Division One
Newcastle Arms 2
JF Commercials 2

COMMERCIALS had to settle for a share of the points, but deserved all three.

The visitors started brighter, but found themselves behind on five minutes when keeper McCusker spilled a free-kick and the re-bound was tapped in.

The hosts should have drawn level when Fox shot wide with the keeper to beat.

Ten minutes before the break Man of the Match Mark Foster struck superbly to level the score.

The second half saw Commercials again the better team with Harper shooting wide when through on goal.

Perry Jones and Mark Foster were running the midfield, leaving Newcastle's Tyson and Griffiths left wanting on most occasions.

Commercials thought they had the game won on 75 minutes when a superb free-kick from Daniel Fox found the top corner from 30 yards.
