THE Bassetlaw Schools Football kicks off this season with 50 teams in 10 divisions, an overall increase of one with the withdrawal of Cuckney and Carlton Ramsden being compensated by the welcome return of Ranby and Sturton-le-Steeple and the addition of a B squad by Serlby Park.

The Girls leagues show that 24 schools are offering competitive football for their girls, with the divisions lining up as follows:

The league leaders at the October half-term in both the boys and girls competitions will take part in a seven-a-side tournament to decide who will represent Bassetlaw in the FA County Finals.
