The Bassetlaw Schools Football League will kick-off this season with fifty teams divided into ten divisions, an overall increase of one with the withdrawal of Cuckney and Carlton Ramsden being
compensated by the welcome return of Ranby and Sturton-le- Steeple and the addition of a "B" squad by Serlby Park.
The full line-up of the divisions is:
Division 1. Carr Hill, Serlby Park, Ordsall, St. John's, Prospect Hill.
Division 2: Redlands, Sir Edmund Hillary, Manton, St. Augustine's, Kingston Park. Division 3. Gateford Park, Langold, Norbridge, Ryton Park, St. Anne's.
Division 4. St. John's "B", St. Augustine's "B", Redlands "B", Serlby Park "B", Priory.
Division 5. St. Joseph's, Thrumpton, Clarborough, Bracken Lane, Misterton.
Division 6. Harworth, Haggonfields, Tuxford, Holy Family, East Markham.
Division 7. North Leverton, Shireoaks, Rampton, Dunham-on-Trent, Gamston.
Division 8. Blyth, Everton, Misterton "B", Beckingham, Misson.
Division 9. North Wheatley, Ranby, Elkesley, Gringley, Normanton-on-Trent.
Division 10. Sutton-cum-Lound, Mattersey, St. Patrick's, Sturton-le-Steeple,

The Girls Leagues show that twenty-four schools are offering competitive football for their girls with the divisions lining up as follows:
Division One: Carr Hill, Ordsall, St. Augustine's, St. John's.
Division Two: Sir Edmund Hillary, New Manton, Langold, St. Anne's.
Division Three: St. Anne's, Ryton Park, Holy Family, Haggonfields.
Division Four: Bracken Lane, Thrumpton, Clarborough, Tuxford.
Division Five: Misterton, Everton, St.Patrick's, Harworth C. of E.
Division Six: Blyth, East Markham, North Leverton, Gamston.
The league leaders at the October half-term in both the boys and girls competitions will be invited to take part in a seven-a-side tournament to decide who will represent Bassetlaw in the County Finals of the English Schools F.A. National competition.
