TWO local girls have made it a summer to remember for Sheffield High School, with victories at a major athletics schools championship.
Fifteen-year-old Hannah Davies from Steetley and Victoria Stasi, 14, from Harthill were both on the podium at the Girls Day School Trust Athletics Rally.
The event was open to 29 schools from all over the country, and the girls both took individual titles.
Hannah won the Senior Hurdles event and was part of the Senior Relay team who were crowned Trust Champions.
Victoria took gold in the Year 9 200m race and joined the Y9 Relay team to cross the line first and take another Trust Championship title back to the school.
