SHERWOOD MP Paddy Tipping has been taken to hospital after suffering a mild heart attack.
Mr Tipping is currently recovering at Nottingham's Queen's Medical Centre and he is expected to remain there for about a week.

A spokesman for Mr Tipping said on Monday: "He will then need time off to ensure he recovers fully before returning to his role of representing the people of Sherwood."

Meanwhile, Mr Tipping's office will be open for business as usual and constituents who need help should continue to contact the office as normal.

Mr Tipping said over the weekend: "I am receiving excellent care from all the staff at QMC Hospital and I cannot praise them too highly."
