Appeal for witnesses after cyclist hurt in van collision

A CYCLIST suffered serious injuries to his face, head and neck after a collision with a van on the A617 at Rainworth.
The smash took place on Saturday at around 3.20pm and involved the pedal cyclist and a yellow Renault Traffic AA van.

The 44-year-old cyclist, from Bilsthorpe, was taken by air ambulance to Nottingham's Queen's Medical Centre for treatment.
