ALREADY the whingers are starting to pipe up about the arrival of M&S in Worksop.
"Too expensive," I hear them moan.
Well, good for M&S, that's what I say! It's about time Worksop had a few high-class outlets catering for the moneyed gentry, like me.
For too long, this town has offered little more than cheap tat shops and low-grade food stores peddling cutprice greasy glop.
Crikey O'Reilly, how much more depressing pound-shop junk do the blue-stripey-label brigade need?
Haven't they got enough to blow their Giros and 'benefits' on?
It's time we had a bit of quality here – and if it's hideously overpriced, so much the better.
So bring on the M&S sandwiches priced at £5 a pack! Wheel out the fresh fruit salads and the clean stylish salad boxes and the expensive fresh cream doughnuts and eclairs!
To hell with the (non)-working class!
