Transport keeps us going

Over the past three weeks, I’ve read the articles about transport.

Over the years there has been many forms of transport, pack horse, hand cart, wheel barrow, horse and cart, stage coach. All with the same aim, to get goods or people to different places quickly.

All the pits and farms all over the world would be sky high with their products if there was no transport as would all other firms. Like it or not, transport is the main thing in the world today and it’s been so for hundreds of years.

Transport is what keeps the world alive. It also keeps you alive. Big or small, fast or slow, transport keeps you on the go.

I would like to add, that in 1933 I was given a ride on Ernie Clark’s boat from the Willow to Bracebridge Lock.
