Reader’s Letter: Is this the end for Tigers?

All supporters of Worksop Town FC have respect for Jason Clarke, he was a man of integrity.

We have had others come along, no names, no pack drill who did nothing only put the club were it is now, if there ends up being

a club? All will be revealed.

I wrote my last letter not realising some of what I said may come true.

Over the coming weeks all will be revealed, but while Worksop Town did not have a ground they could call there home, this was inevitable and unsustainable .

Sandy Lane was not their home, it was but this is all history and since it was on the cards that they would not have a home on Vesuvius as was all the bull in the past, I hope some people will now stand up and be counted!

I fear for the club I have supported all my life because if all the stories going round are true of them dropping down to lower league, it will mean the end of Worksop town FC no matter what the board and trust cobble together.

Look round the country as I have stated also with no ground it is inevitable!
