A Worksop teenager admitted a racially aggravated assault and causing criminal damage to a police car.
Worksop Magistrates’ Court heard how on the night of 12th July 2014, Paige Cavell, 19, of Fallow Court, Worksop, kicked a police patrol car and assaulted a man, with the offence being racially aggravated.
Defending solicitor, David Verity, said that his client was ‘very drunk’ on the night in question and was very remorseful.
He also said that Cavell does not remember the racially aggravated assault but accepts it as three police officers witnessesd the incident.
The case was adjourned until Monday 18th August at Mansfield Magistrates and Cavell was given unconditional bail.
