Worksop mates Tom Wylie, Sean Spencer and Martyn Willis handed over a big cheque for £1,500 to Macmillan Cancer Support after completing a gruelling 100 mile charity walk this summer.

The men and another friend, Shane Gant, stepped out on 19th September from Worksop to Bridlington.

They also held a bucket collection at Asda on Memorial Avenue and a raffle at Worksop Miners’ Welfare Club.

They handed the cheque to Macmillan volunteer Emma Spencer, accompanied by Tom’s doctor Joseph Waas who encouraged him to take up charity walking and Miners’ Welfare secretary Alec Woodward.
