Friends, family and colleagues of a former service user at Aurora Wellbeing in Worksop have raised £1,278 for the cancer charity.
Donna Hubbard was a regular user of Wellbeing during her three-year fight against cancer before she died in January a the age of 43.
Donna, from Doncaster, enjoyed going to Aurora for some therapeutic pampering and support.
Her beauty treatment appointments gave her something to look forward to and helped make her feel normal for a while whilst also undergoing harsh medical treatment.
She was planning to be a model in Aurora’s annual charity fashion show.
She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2011 but successfully battled it and was given the all-clear. However, cancer later returned to her liver.
“She fought every step of the way, she was a much-loved wife, mum and daughter and she will be remembered as being upbeat, happy and a friend to everyone,” said Sue Milne, who worked with Donna at Doncaster Royal Infirmary.
