Worksop College has announced an impressive programme for the new Worksop Music Concert Series which sees local and international talent performing in the town throughout the year.

Bringing a focus on entertainment and the continued involvement of World-class musicians from a wide variety of backgrounds and influences, the programme has something to offer to both young and old alike.

Performances will range from large scale cathedral anthems with full orchestral accompaniment performed by the North Notts Chamber Choir, Worksop College Chapel Choir and Mountgarret Concert Orchestra, through to grand opera and West End showstoppers from Opera Dudes, an unusual pairing of an ex-bricklayer and ex-Cambridge scholar.

Tim Uglow, college director of music said “We are very excited about this year’s series, Worksop College is a well-known for the high quality for its music provision in terms of education and this, combined with the its reputation for hosting high quality performances means we have been able to secure a fantastic range of local and international talent”
