A WORKSOP woman who allegedly stole a games console and £6 in loose change is facing a prison sentence.
Gemma Kinsella, 28, of Evesham Mews, will remain in custody until her appearance at Nottingham Crown Court on 11th April.
Worksop Magistrates’ Court heard how the defendant was seen running from a property on Shrewsbury Road, in Manton, with a black Nintendo Wii.
The incident in question took place on the afternoon of 6th January.
Ms Kinsella denied the charge.
David Verity, defending, said in the appeal for bail: “She does have a young daughter and is anxious to re-establish a relationship with that daughter.”
Chair of the Bench Ian Keat said: “You will remain in custody until 11th April.”
