Italian composer and pianist Ludovico Einaudi brings his unique style of music to Sheffield on Saturday 27th April 2013.

Sheffield City Hall is the venue for the classical concert. And we have A PAIR OF TICKETS to give away to one lucky reader.

Einaudi, who has previously sold out the Royal Albert Hall, has just released his 12th studio album In A Time Lapse.

His music has been described as minimalist, alt-classical, ambient and contemporary, but it defies easy classification.

He has quietly become one of the most successful musicians in the world, performing hauntingly beautiful and evocative music which has topped both the UK and Italian charts, selling more than 1.5 million records.

Even the film world boasts some of Einaudi’s best work, as he has scored music for movies like Shane Meadows’ This Is England and the TV sequel This Is England ‘86, for which he earned a BAFTA nomination. And also Darren Aronovsky’s Black Swan and this year’s French international hit Intouchables.

Tickets for the Sheffield City Hall concert start from £25. The show starts at 7.30pm, doors open 6.30pm.
