WIN! Tickets to Beatles tribute

Celebrating the 50th anniversary of their very first hit, the authoritative Beatles live concert show is coming to The Palace Theatre Mansfield.

In 1962, the single Love Me Do launched John, Paul, George and Ringo’s chart-topping career.

It announced the arrival of a band that was to become the biggest-selling recording artists in the world.

Local music fans have the chance to be among the first to see this lavish, commemorative concert show.

And the Guardian has two pairs of tickets to the show in November to give away.

During the Sixties, the Fab Four’s live shows saw fan hysteria never seen before or since – leading to the coining of the phrase Beatlemania.

”The Magic of the Beatles superbly recreates these legendary live performances, and more,” said show producer Michael Taylor.

The show promises to transport music fans from The Beatles mop top roots to the psychedelia of Sgt Pepper and beyond, from Love Me Do to Let It Be.

The Magic of the Beatles promises to be the most comprehensive, most authentic Beatles show ever – even down to original guitars and amps used by the band.

The cast have performed for some famous faces including David and Victoria Beckham, Sir Richard Branson, Madonna and Guy Ritchie and numerous TV and soap stars.

“Fantastic costumes, brilliant vocals and incredible musicianship come together in a lavish Magical Musical trip back to Yesterday,” said Michael.

“Love Me Do was the genesis of the greatest band in the world. Fifty years on, this fantastic show ensures the Fab Four’s incredible musical legacy lives on live and in concert,” he added.
