MATCH tickets to a Manchester United football game are being raffled off for a good cause.
An event at The Little Mester pub in North Anston on Tuesday 26th February will see one lucky winner walk away with the prize.
It’s all in aid of the Adult Learning Difficulties (ALD) club in Dinnington, which faces closure due to lack of funds.
Members meet every Tuesday at Middleton Hall in Dinnington to socialise and do organised activities throughout the year.
It costs around £2,000 a year to keep the club running, and it has been going for ten years.
Activities include bowling, going out for meals, to the pictures and theatre, or just shopping.
Members and their families say they would be devastated if the club had to fold.
That is why they have been busy selling raffle tickets for Tuesday night’s draw, when a lucky winner will be chosen.
The football match itself is on Saturday 16th March. Manchester United face Reading, and the seats up for grabs are close to the pitch.
Tuesday’s fundraising event starts at 7pm and a limited number of tickets are still available for just £10.
